The Women's Cell will look after the welfare of the women employees, facilitate redressal of their grievances and shall cater to the issues/ grievances concerning women employees. The Cell will also conduct a survey within the organization and collect suggestions/ recommendations from women on issues concerning them so that appropriate action could be taken in the matter with a view to helping them. The Women's Cell will review various schemes and programmes of the Institute and ensure that wherever possible, the aspect of women's development is promotes through the schemes/ programmes and a component for women's development introduced in the activity by getting the scheme amended suitably. The Women's Cell would promote all round development of women employees of the Institute, dependent female children of male as well as female employees through non-formal/ adult education, health care, family care assistance, training for skill formation etc. The Women's Cell will also look after the management of hte Creche in the colony and prescribe necessary guidelines for its smooth functioning. The Committee shall make annual report to the ministry about the complaints on sexual harassment of women at workplace and action taken for redressal of complaints, to review the state of preparedness to deal with complaints and to make all officers fully aware of their responsibilities in this regard. The Committee shall meet minimum once in a quarter. The Committee shall investigate reported cases of commission of acts of sexual harassment of women, if any, in CPRI and submit its report to the disciplinary authority recommending action to be taken against the accused employees.
